     There’sa new variation of the telephone scam going around.  Maybe I just haven’t heard of it, but this one involves being called at home or on your cell phone by someone pretending to be from your credit card company.  They say they are an offical from Visa or Mastercard, and that your account may be subject to fraudulent activity.  And get this… they already know your credit card number!   What they don’t know is your 3 or 4 digit security code, and that’s what they need.  So they talk and talk, and let you know that you’ll be receiving a credit to your account for $XXX dollars, and all they need is to verify the numbers on the back of your card (front for American Express)….     Il ya une nouvelle variante du téléphone escroquerie en cours around. Peut-être que je juste ne l'ont pas entendu parler, mais cela implique une remise à la maison ou sur votre téléphone portable par une personne prétendant être de votre compagnie de carte de crédit .  Ils disent qu'ils sont un fonctionnaire de carte de crédit Visa ou Mastercard, et que votre compte mai faire l'objet d'frauduleux activity. Et… obtenir ce qu'ils savent déjà votre numéro de carte de crédit!  Ce qu'ils ne savent pas est votre 3 ou 4 chiffres code de sécurité, et c'est ce qu'ils need. Ils ont donc parler et parler, et vous savez que vous allez recevoir un crédit à votre compte de XXX $ de dollars, et tout ce qu'ils ont besoin de vérifier les numéros sur le dos de votre carte (à l'avant pour American Express)…. which of course includes your security code! qui comprend des cours de votre code de sécurité!      Some consumers have given all this information to a seemingly official person from Visa or Mastercard… then after having second thoughts they called the credit card company themselves.  Guess what?  The credit card company said that fraud just had occured after the previous call..     Certains consommateurs ont donné toutes ces informations à une personne apparemment officielle de Visa ou Mastercard… puis après avoir des doutes qu'ils ont appelé la compagnie de carte de crédit themselves. Devinez quoi?  La société de carte de crédit a dit que la fraude a eu lieu juste après l'appel précédent .. and it was a good thing they called to verify.  Visa or Mastercard will promptly close the account and issue you a new card.   Personally, I try never to accept calls from a bank, credit card company or other financial institution.  Instead I will tell them I’ll call them back, and then after finding the official customer service number I will dial it myself.  That way I can verify that the contact or information request is real. et il a été une bonne chose qu'ils appelaient à verify. Visa ou Mastercard rapidement fermer le compte et vous en émettre une nouvelle card.  Personnellement, j'essaie de ne jamais accepter les appels auprès d'une banque, société de carte de crédit ou autres établissements financiers institution. Je vais leur dire que nous nommerons les reprendre, puis après avoir constaté le fonctionnaire numéro de service client, je composeriez myself. De cette façon, je peux vérifier que le contact ou de demande d'information est réel.
