I just figured out today why he has shared those thoughts, considering Ralph Nader has asked Gonzales to be his running mate .  He sounds like a very principled individual however, and I appreciate his views. Think I prefer a more analytical approach to the issues, but I also agree that if the Democrats are elected we’ll probably see much higher taxes on both income and capital gains.
