Well the Dollar ain’t what it used to be… I’m visiting relatives in Germany for a quick trip, and find that my US Dollars are close to a two-year low against the Euro. Flew into Frankfurt and then a couple hours drive to southern Germany. Beautiful weather this week, and the food and beer is wonderful. I’m only here for a short time, and noticed my dollars don’t stretch quite as far as they used to.  If I was here for more than a week I would probably care… certainly a budget would limit what I might spend. Bueno el dólar no es lo que solía ser… que estoy visitando familiares en Alemania para un rápido viaje, y encontrar que mi Dólares EE.UU. se acercan a un período de dos años bajo contra el Euro. voló en Frankfurt y luego un par horas en coche al sur de Germany. buen tiempo esta semana, y la comida y la cerveza es wonderful. estoy aquí sólo por un tiempo corto, y mi notado dólares no se extienden bastante en la medida en que utiliza to.  Si Estuve aquí hace más de una semana probablemente la atención… sin duda un presupuesto límite de lo que podría pasar. But realistically, it is what it is, and I won’t limit my tourist spending by virtue of the exchange rate. Of course I don’t plan any major purchases… I’ll just enjoy the visit and the food and friendship. The local and international economy is cyclic of course… some cycles are longer than others. On the micro-level, fluctuations in currency may not affect much (for me on a tourist trip), but certainly on the macro and international level there are longer term impacts and changes. But for the food, wine and beer? Ahh… disneyland for the culinary delights. Prost! Pero con realismo, es lo que es, y no voy a mi límite de gasto turístico en virtud del intercambio rate. Por supuesto no estoy de cualquier plan de compras importantes… yo simplemente disfrutar de la visita y la comida y la amistad.  local e internacional economía es cíclica, por supuesto… algunos ciclos son más largos que others. En el micro-nivel, las fluctuaciones de la moneda no podrá afectar mucho (para mí on un viaje turístico), pero sin duda en el macro y en el plano internacional existe son los impactos a largo plazo y changes. Pero para la comida, el vino y la cerveza?  Ahh… Disneyland para la culinaria delights. Prost!
